Universalization of Elementary Education
(UEE)
UEE in India
means making education available to all children in the age group of 6 to 14 or
in the class 1st to 7th. It means that education is for
all and not for selected group.
Stages of UEE

2. Universal
enrolment
3. Universal
retention
1. Universal Provision
It means that school facilities should be provided to all
children between age group 6 to 14 in the country. The school should be easily
accessible with in the walkable distance of the child.
2. Universal Enrolment
All the
children with in 6 to 14 age group should be enrolled in the schedule.
3. Universal Retention
It means once a child joins
in a primary school, he or she should remain there till he complete all eight
classes.
